KASUNGU ZONE COMMUNICATORS GATHER FOR CHURCH COMMUNICATION REFRESHER

Members of the Kasungu zone communications team gathered on 13 April, 2024, at Linyangwa Church for a refresher aimed at bolstering communication skills within church communities.

Martin Mkandawile, President of Kasungu Communication Zone, emphasized the continuous nature of this initiative.

"The activity will be ongoing to elevate Kasungu zone’s communication department to prominence." He stated.

The get together, chaired by Willan Mkandawile, focused on educating church communicators about the critical role of effective communication, particularly in rural congregations.

"Kasungu zone communicators will persist in sensitizing about the importance of communication across various churches," he affirmed.

He also praised the communicators for their role in what was described as a successful program. Participants engaged in a series of discussions and presentations that covered various aspects of church communications, from the basics of communication to the impacts of technology and the 'Tikudziweni' program.

The communicators present were from kachere, Bethel, Mtsita and Kasungu central churches.

One church member from Linyangwa, Jane chipiliro Tembo expressed newfound interest in communication.

"I will join the communication team because I have now understood what is expected of a communicator at the church level," she said.

The day concluded with speeches from a church elder and the Kasungu Zone President, cementing on the significance of the continued learning on communication.
