The Executive Secretary of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church,Elder Erton C.Kohler has urged the church members in Malawi to act with urgency and to use all justifiable means like technology in preaching the gospel to save more souls.

Elder Kohler made the appeal on Thursday, 18 April 2024 at Lilongwe Central Church where local conference dignatories, church members and head of departments from Malawi Union Conference converged for vespers with him.

"The world is falling apart, nations are perishing. Will you wait for tomorrow to communicate while souls are dying? We need to reach out to people with a sense of urgency.Use social media opportunities to spread the gospel fast to all people".He said

Kohler who was accompanied by Southern Africa Indian Ocean Division (SID) Executive Secretary Gedeon Reneke and other General Conference officials made a one day stop over in Malawi ahead of the SID's launch of the Adventist Volunteer Services in Maputo, Mozambique.

"The world is at great war hence it needs men and women who will go carrying the message of hope with urgency. Everyone needs to know that we are Angels of today and we need to stand firm for the everlasting truth before souls perish", GC Executive Secretary appealed.
