CMC Adventist Youth Ministries Launches 2020 Pathfinder Camporee Registration Campaign
The Central Malawi Conference (CMC) of the Seventh Day Adventist Church has officially launched the registration for the 2020 Malawi Union Pathfinder Camporee. The Launch took place on Sabbath 14th March 2020 at Kamuzu Barracks SDA Church in Lilongwe.
Speaking after the launch CMC Youth Ministries Director Pastor Solomon Naliya expressed the need for the youth to register for the Camporee.
"As CMC we are very luck that the event is happening in our area, hence the need for us to use this chance by registering for this big even", he said.
He further said that CMC is very lucky since the chairperson of the organizing committee at Union level is from CMC, Master Guide Khalani Makunje.
And on his part Kawale District Pastor, Dingani Mfune hailed CMC for choosing Kamuzu Barracks for the launch of the campaign. He said the doors of Kawale district are open if there is a need to conduct any event.
The Camporee will start from 9th and end on 16th of August 2020 at Kambiri Lodge in Salima District under the theme, Identity.
Among others, there will be activities like photography, videography, swimming, and other honors. Youths from Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Botswana are expected to attend.
