92 Baptized and 14 Graduates in VOP Lessons in Chipoka District

Chipoka district of the Seventh Day Adventist(SDA) church on Sabbath, November 7, 2020 had a memorable day where 92 were baptised from various churches within the district.

Following the great commission on Matthews 28 : 18 -20 Chipoka was charged and organised a Voice Of Prophesy (VOP) Bible School where non believers were receiving the lessons and 14 candidates received their certificates, 6 joined the church and got baptized. They also organised a 2 weeks Revival Meeting through Lay Preacher's Association at Visanza village TA Ndindi where 14 souls were yielded and baptized.

The church elders in the district did not remain silent, they intensified giving bible lessons through Bible classes in various churches where 72 were baptized making a total of 92 people.

Pastor Joshua Ben Zilinde of Salima District was the one who baptized the people in Lake Malawi . He baptized them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit following the true baptismal of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Wilford Baziliyo, the District pastor for Chipoka welcomed the newly baptized members into the family of Seventh Day Adventist.

During certificates presentation to those who completed 26 VOP lessons, Elder Nelson Msiska who is the Director of Health Ministries in the Central Malawi Conference and was the Guest of Honour at the event advised the graduates to continue learning the Bible for it is big.

He commissioned them to teach others what they have learnt.

He further pleaded with Chipoka to continue sharing the VOP lessons because it is the best approach of reaching many during COVID 19 pandemic period.
