Masewe church, a branch of Benga Seventh-day Adventist church, on 24th October 2020 baptised 23 members having gone through the Bible class lessons.

The baptism was administered by Pastor Joshua Zilinde from Salima district of the SDA Church.

Speaking to the congregation, Pastor Zilinde in his sermon from Mathew 24:13 [But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved] KJV, encouraged the members to be more faithful.

He emphasized that, just like they have endured the long waiting for them to be baptised due to Covid-19, they should faithfully wait for the Lord’s second coming.

Joseph Funsilani, who was baptized together with his wife Brenda Funsilani, expressed his gratitude of becoming a baptized member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Through the baptism, these twenty-three made commitment to follow Jesus Christ.
