Master Guide Macloud Magombo who is also mentor of Machenga Seventh Day Adventist ( SDA) Church 2019 to 2020 Master Guide in training class has challenged Master Guides in training students to prioritise outreach programs if the church is to achieve meaningful and sustainable church growth.

Magombo said this on Sunday 27 September 2020 at Machenga SDA Church in the area of Traditional Authority Njewa in Lilongwe when the group donated assorted items to over ten elderly and vulnerable people.

Speaking after the donation, Master Guide Magombo said outreach programs are a vital foundation for reaching out to vulnerable and less privileged people as such there is a need to take a leading role in outreach programs if the church is to achieve meaningful and sustainable church growth.

In his remarks, President of Machenga Master Guide in training class Sangulukani Munthali said outreach programs are vital foundation for the associates hence the need for them to intensify the programs that would lead to the transformation of the lives of the vulnerable and elderly people who are mostly forgotten in our communities.

"Elderly and vulnerable people are facing a lot of challenges in their daily lives so we decided to come here to share with them the little things that we contributed as a way of showing that Jesus Christ loves them," said Munthali.

On her part, one of the beneficiaries Gogo Delia Marko thanked the Master Guide class members for the gesture, saying the donation has come at the right time when the items were needed most.

"We are very grateful to Machenga Master Guide in training class members for the timely donation, this will help us a lot and we promise to utilize the donated items to its intended purpose," said Gogo Delia Marko.
