KAMPEPUZA CHRISTIANS URGED TO PRESS TOWARDS SALVATION

Adventist Christians at Kampepuza Seventh-day Adventist Church have been urged to press towards their final goal if they are to be saved.

Bertha Chilewani on Sabbath made the appeal during a divine sermon on 11th May 2024 at Kampepuza Seventh-day Adventist Church, T.A Champiti in Ntcheu to a fully-packed congregation.

Chilewani quoted Matthews 20:29-34 where two blind men pressed on meeting Jesus to regain their eyesight. These blind men kept on shouting to Jesus despite being prohibited to shout for Jesus' mercy and healing.

"We are to be persistent to attain our goal of salvation. These two blind men pressed on their motive until finally, they regained their eyesight and final salvation," Chilewani said.

She finally urged all Adventist Christians to recognise Jesus in their lives when solving their challenges regardless of all odds. She challenged the congregation to trust and believe in God regardless of what opposing circumstances they faced.

In his remarks,Elder Sipholiano Dumani concurred with Chilewani that without pressing hard for our salvation we will miss heaven.
