NTCHISI RECEIVES CHRIST- 170 BAPTIZED

The Central Malawi Conference of the Seventh-Day Adventist church organized crusades in different areas including Ntchisi.

The Personal Ministries chose Ntchisi because many areas in the district were not reached with salvation message.

Initially, the Central Malawi Conference targeted 15 centers in Malomo before adding six more centers just after a few months. One of the additional six centers was Kacherenga village in the area of Traditional Authority Malenga where Evangelism Gift Khuluza had a two week crusade from 8th to 21st October, 2023.

The Personal Ministries Director at the Central Malawi Conference, pastor Henry Kamchanda said that such crusades are very important if CMC is to win more souls in the region.

He was quick to announce that next year, such crusades will be taken to Lilongwe rural. Some of the areas earmarked to be reached include M'bwatalika, Nathenje, Nanjiri and Mitundu. Out of the 46 people who graduated from VOP lessons at Kacherenga center, ten were baptized.

Speaking on the development, group village headman Kacherenga thanked the church for the good job it is doing in Ntchisi and Kacherenga village in particular .

"Last time when the SDA church was here, I asked for more meetings and I am happy today to see that it has been done and that the crusade has produced fruits in my area," group village headman Kacherenga said.

The traditional leader added that the Seventh-day Adventist Church will be the first church in his village and he pledged to do everything possible to make sure that the church stays.

A total of 170 people, including senior group village headman Mbuyedziko were baptized from the six centers. The other five include; Khoko, Chididi, Mbuyedziko, Sibawo and Liwonde.
