MTAKATAKA DISTRICT CHURCH LEADERS URGED TO BE TRUE LEADERS

Mtakataka district Pastor, Prince Mhone urged church elders, church clerks and treasurers to be true leaders and lead by example.


The sentiments were made on 21st January, 2024 during a meeting that was held with an aim to map the way forward in as far as working for the Lord in 2024 is concerned.

The district Pastor added that leaders should lead by example inorder to represent the church and image of God wherever they go.


Pastor Mhone also introduced the 2024 theme for the district which is 'I Will Go on God's Mission'.

He then challenged the leaders to win more than 2 souls per week so that 2024 must be a meaningful year.

" As leaders you need to fulfil what you promised and continue what our leader Jesus Christ was doing," he added.

Mhone also advised Elders to allow youths take part in their respective churches inorder to mould them be leaders with vision.


In his last remark, Mhone urged churches to find means inorder to source income to support their church projects.

" We cannot always depend on Christians to give us money to run church projects but rather we can find other means of generating income.




In his remarks Elder Mwai Muhua one of the Elders from Mua Church explained the meeting as inspiring and successful as new things have been taught and taken on board.

Muhua also said church Clerks have been trained well and they will be able to do their work and make sure that they are giving privacy to church documents among others.


The meeting ended by requesting reports from treasurers, other notable figures on that day were Pastor Christopher Binos, Mr. Phambana (District Treasurer) and Mr. Yason (Former District Treasurer) just to mention a few.
