LLCZ ADVENTIST YOUTH LEADERS EQUIPED WITH LEADERSHIP



Over 234 Lilongwe City Zone (LLCZ) Adventist youth leaders have been trained in leadership skills at a four day youth leadership workshop which took place at Charles Grand Park in Lilongwe which started on 28 March through Sunday 31 March,2024 aimed to equip participants with knowledge and skills that would help enhance youth understanding of Jesus their savior.

Organizing Chairperson to the Workshop Master Guide Kingsley Dzikolo said the workshop was conducted under the theme “Called to serve” urging participants to aim high and work towards leading others to Christ in all spheres of life.

Speaking on behalf of Central Malawi Conference youth Director Pastor Ben Zilinde Master Guide Tithokoze Samuel who is also Central Malawi Conference (CMC) Adventist youth Ministries (AYM) chairperson challenged all newly elected youth leaders to work for God’s glory for them to be successful.

“I am so optimistic that the leaders will implement whatever they have learnt here because they are now better able to do the rightful part in their capacity as youth leaders their churches." Samuel explained.

She further reminded them to be mindful of laid procedures in their departmental programming and need to be cooperative in executing their leadership roles.

The workshop was highly attended by several dignitaries from both Malawi Union Conference (MUC) and Central Malawi Conference (CMC) as well as 13 facilitators from Lilongwe City zone (LLCZ).
