LIVING WORD CHOIR TAKES THE MESSAGE TO LILONGWE STREETS



Living word Choir of Dzenza SDA Church took the gospel to the streets of Lilongwe on Sabbath,19th August 2023 in a program called branch Sabbath School.


Pastor Hendrix Kalima,the Director of Publishing, Sabbath school and SOP in the Central Malawi Conference who accompanied the group commended Living word for the initiative which is unique.


He said it is important that various church departments should also consider taking the word of God through Music, publishing and preaching to the streets and communities just as Living Word have done.


Speaking on behalf of the group Henry Kamowa who is the Chairperson said they will always get the massage to the street whenever possible to preach about Jesus.



"We have distributed the book called “Chiyembekenzo chotsiliza”(Last Hope) at Nsungwi market, Zebra Area 49 and Mtandire, thats why we the event was called “Chiyembekenzo Chodala”(Blessed hope), said Kamowa.

Patrick Mleya who is the Personal Ministries leader congratulated the group for reaching out to people in the streets.

Evangelist Enerst Obote of Guliver SDA church preached the word of God in all the three centres. He told people to come to Jesus who will save them from all the troubles.


Branch Sabbath school is the church program done away from church. And this year, the Great Controversy book distribution is in plans to be taken through branch sabbath school.
