GROOMING PRAYERFUL CHILDREN IN TODAY'S WORLD: A HIDDEN TREASURER FOR PARENTS

The bible tells us that train up a child in the way he or she should go; and even when they are old they will not depart from it. Moreover children are the main church and also the independent church.

As every Sabbath day; 19th August which was also a closing day of a camp meeting that started on 13th August at Tambalale Seventh Day church; all of the children massed in to pray and praise God. Among the invited guest was children ministries director Mrs Grace T. Mazunda who inspired the children in so many ways.

During the divine service, Pemphero Thawatha was the first to preach before the director. She invited the congregation to Luke 2 verse 52 where Jesus was the centre of her preaching. Mrs Mazunda advised the children to obey and copy the life of samuel who obeyed his parents and master. Reading from Proverbs 22:6 the leaders were given a task to take care of the children.

For keeping the sabbath holy, in the afternoon the children had a great time showcasing what they have been learning through out the meeting .Also they had time to appreciate some new members who made there intentions to join Seventh day church .

Furthermore, there were gifts for the children who behaved well so that it will encourage the other children to amend their behaviours, so that next time they will also be rewarded .
