YOUTHS URGED TO EMBRACE SPIRITUAL GROWTH



Youths at Machenga Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church in the Central Malawi Conference (CMC) have been urged to embrace more resilient spiritual growth initiative to stand the test of time.


The call was made on Saturday, 19th February, 2022 at Machenga Seventh-day Adventist Church by Master Guide Godfrey Nyalapi of the Central Malawi Conference when he presided over an investiture and induction of over twenty four youths who had completed their achievements classes last year.


Master Guide Nyalapi said youth leadership is crucial for any church growth as it helps in scaling up of church evangelism which is vital for church growth.


On her part, one of the church elders at Machenga Seventh-day Adventist Church Master Guide Catherine Chalira said youth leadership is crucial for the Seventh-day Adventist Church youths hence the need to ensure that children attend and graduate in various achievement classes.


"There is need to equip the youths with leadership skills to help them contribute effectively to church growth," said Chalira.


In her remarks, Master Guide Zione Mkanya who is also Adventist Youth Leader at Machenga Seventh-day Adventist Church called upon all parents to encourage their children to attend Adventist Youth (AY) achievement classes for them to have leadership skills that are vital foundation for church growth.


"I am very grateful to church leadership for all the support they rendered to us inorder to come up with this memorable occasion, which symbolizes that the church enjoys good leadership that is aimed at fulfilling the mission of preaching the gospel to the whole world," explained Mkanya
