SENIOR CHIEF TSABANGO HAILS SDA CHURCH FOR REVIVING HIS COMMUNITY THROUGH CAMPMEETING

Senior Chief Tsabango of Lilongwe has hailed Seventh day Adventist (SDA) Church members for reviving his community and has advised the people to continue being prayerful Christians for them to overcome evil.

The chief said this on Saturday at Tambalale SDA Church ground during the end of this year’s one week camp meeting which was conducted from August 13 to 19, 2023 under the theme” I WILL GO” aimed at reaching out to Communities with the everlasting gospel for them to enhance their trust and renew their relationship with God.

In his remarks Pastor Wellington Thawatha of Chilinde district said this year’s camp meeting was wonderful because it was well patronized by a cross section of people including people from other denominations who were following using several channels of Communication a development which is promising for soul winning.

“This year’s camp meeting was so educative because participants to the meeting had learnt a lot of lessons such as Bible Baptism, entrepreneurship, stewardship, parenting, family life to mention but a few which are beneficial to their daily lives,” he said.

In an interview with one of the Participants to camp meeting Pastor Bright Ubale of living Waters church said during the meeting God had taught us how to refrain from doing evil things so that we should not get lost.

“The camp meeting is a good gesture and a source of motivation and inspiration for the promotion of our faith in God,” Ubale explained.

The camp meeting was attended by Central Malawi Conference (CMC) Communications director Grace Mazunda among notable dignitaries.
