Nkhoma Church Urged To Open a Branch At Chamadenga

Nkhoma SDA Church has been urged to open a branch at Chamadenga Trading Center in Nkhoma, Lilongwe District.

The call was made by Group Village Dete of the area after a two weeks Effort by evangelist Steven Kamzere from Mzuzu.

Speaking during the end of the Effort on Sabbath 14th November 2020, Group Village Headman Dete said a lot of people in his area are ready to join the church hence the need for a place of worship.

Apart from preaching the word of God, Evangelist Kamzere also took time to help people in the area with their health needs For example, people were coming to check their Blood Pressure (BP) and were also given advice on how to live a good health life.

In addition to this the evangelist also made home visitations and prayed with the people in the area on their everyday worries such as sickness, poverty, family issues among others.

As a result, over 50 people gave their lives to Christ and were baptized.

Evangelist Kamzere closed the Effort with the word from Isaiah 45:5-6 where he encouraged the newly baptized members to serve God with all their heart because he is the only God to be served.

On his part, Nampala District Pastor, Claude Chiphonda Banda said they will do their part to nurture the souls so that the branch should grow into a big church.
