MPINGU SDA CHURCH INVADE THE THREE VILLAGES IN TA MBWATALIKA WITH CHARITY

As part of closing the ten days of prayer which started on 5th January 2022 across the churches, Mpingu SDA Church on 15th January, 2022 visited three villages of Mvuwu, Chamanda, and Siinda in Traditional Authority (TA) Mbwatalika, Lilongwe, where they shared love of God.

The activities were mainly led by Adventist Youth, Women Ministry, and Adventist Men who went to different villages within the Traditional Authority. Among their activities, they ministered on the love of God to villagers and reached out to some vulnerable elderly, young women, and the youth within the communities.

The items the church donated were laundry soap, torch, sugar, salt, flour, roofing plastic papers, and clothes, while some of the youths also benefited from exercise books.

This was in direct response to current Church’s strategic focus 'I will Go' and to Christ's call from Matthew 25:40 that encourages His professed followers that "In as much as ye done it unto one of the least of these my brethren..." So the church was constrained by that call.

Senior Group Village Headwoman Mvuwu while addressing the youths that went to her village said, “It is our great wish that you should come and do an evangelistic campaign and teach us the word of God.”

In his concluding remarks, Elder Patrick Tembo reminded the gathering of what Jesus promised that He had gone to prepare mansions enough for all. He therefore asked them to trust in Jesus and seek His righteousness as problems in this world will end when Jesus will say it is done.

The harvest is surely ripe out there in the field, what is remaining is for men and women who are eager to become fishers of men to work for Christ and who are ready to say "Lord strengthen me, I will go!
