LILONGWE CENTRAL CHURCH REACHES OUT TO PARLIAMENT WITH LITERATURE EVANGELISM

Lilongwe Central Seventh-day day Adventist (SDA) Church on Tuesday 17 September, 2024 distributed 400 Great controversy books and 200 Bibles to Parliamentarians, Parliamentary staff and security personnel at Parliament as one way of spreading the gospel truth in order to win more souls to Christ.

In his remarks, Lilongwe Central Church Administrative assistant, Hussen Mfundi said the initiative is aimed at enhancing Literature Evangelism which is vital foundation for winning souls to Christ.

‘We thought of reaching out to Parliamentarians and Parliamentary staff members to distribute the Literature books in order to spread the gospel truth for them to surrender their lives to Christ,” Mfundi explained.

During the event one of the health experts at Lilongwe Adventist Hospital, Dr. Kamange said they offered services such high blood pressure, diabetes screening, mental health counselling and dental services with the aim of sensitizing the people about the importance of seeking medical attention even if they were not sick.

Kamange emphasized on the need for people to seek regular medical attention such as screening services since most people go to work without knowing that they are sick which may result in sudden deaths.

The medical team shall be offering free health services at Parliament until for a whole week.
