KAKULE SDA CHURCH CLAIMS 41 SOULS TO CHRIST

Kakule SDA Church in in Lilongwe on Sabbath July, 29, 2023 claimed 41 souls to Christ through baptism at the end of a two week evangelistic effort that was conducted by the district Pastor Chikondi Matekenya from 16-29 July, 2023 under the theme “Preaching the gospel truth in the last days,”.

The effort took place at M’chawa village in traditional Authority Malili in Lilongwe.

Matekenya urged the newly baptized members to observe all things they have been taught to the end of the age.

“I urge you to continually be committed to Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior since you are set free from the burden of the past deeds and therefore grow into the likeness of His character communing with Him daily in prayer feeding on His words,” He explained.

He further advised the new convents to cultivate their spiritual lives by leaving their social engagements aside so that they become reliable church members since the church looks up to them to bear fruits.

In his remarks one of the church elders at Kakule Church Frank Kasambara challenged the newly baptized members to embrace the principles of heaven that will help them produce Christ like purity, health and Joy in their daily lives.

“Determination and self-discipline are the only tools towards the success of every Christian as such there is need for them to be vigilant towards the proclamation of his gospel for the church to grow,” he said.

In an interview with one of the newly baptized members a 50 years old Tiyanjeni Ellias said she was very excited to join the SDA church which had been a long dream to belong to the church that teaches about the true bible Sabbath.

“I want to thank Kakule church for reaching out to us with the everlasting gospel which has come at the right time when the communities were going through spiritual drought and this is a milestone towards the promotion of our faith in God,” she explained.
