KACHERE WOMEN MINISTRIES BRING SMILES TO ORPHANED CHILDREN

Kachere Diststrict Women Ministries, brought smiles to three orphans of Chiphaso village, Traditional Authority Kaomba in Kasungu where they conducted a Dorcas rally on 11th April, 2021, and donated assorted items ranging from beddings, cooking oil, 4 bags of maize, 2 bales of sugar, pots, plates, clothes, salt, soap, flour, cash, and paid one month rental fee for the children.

The children, Veronica 17, Mphatso 16, and Luciano Milanzi 9 lost their parents in Ntcheu in 2011. Since then life has been very difficult for them such that they even dropped out school.

''We can't believe what is happening to us on this day. We really face a lot of problems but I thank God for the good gesture rendered to us from these women, and we are joining this caring Church starting from next week," said Veronica on behalf of her siblings.

Village headman Chiphaso who is the guardian for the children thanked the Church for extending a helping hand to the children.

"I would like to thank Seventh-day Adventist Church for what you have done today. I was deeply concerned about the situation of these kids hence I volunteered to provide help though I can't adequately provide for them," he Said.

Pastor Moses Mpinganjira, the district pastor, equally thanked all the women from the district for the support.

The three kids have since been urged to go back to school and have been promised support from the women.
