Hope channel Malawi together with the Voice of Hope organized a music festival which took place at Kamuzu Institute for Youth in Lilongwe on 26 November 2023. According to pastor Charles Thangalimodzi who is the director for Hope Channel Malawi, the aim of the festival was for Hope Channel Malawi to interact with singing groups that contribute to its programs. "Now that the main studio is here in Lilongwe, we have decided to interact with our contributors in the music section," pastor Thangalimodzi said.

The presence of Masintha CCAP Choir at the event was so conspicuous and the audience was greatly amazed at how the group performed amidst an Adventist gathering. Other groups that participated include the Seraphs, the Harps, Ngwenya Fam, Kamwana family, Vocal fusion and Gospel in us. Pastor Davie Chiwaya who travelled all the way from Blantyre was also a marvel to watch at the event as he performed his long time hit titled Anayenda Medley. Commenting on the event, Yamikani Ching'ani who is a member of Masintha CCAP Choir said that the event has vindicated the fact that different churches can work together to spread the Gospel. In his concluding remarks, pastor Thangalimodzi suggested that the event be done quarterly or monthly. He has since called for well wishers to come forward for partnership or sponsorship so that this is achieved. EMMANUEL MOSES MKOMBEZI CMC Media
