EIGHT MASTERGUIDES INVESTED

Eight associate master guides from chipasula Seventh-day Adventist church in Lilongwe were, on 2nd September 2023, installed as full Master guides after undergoing a master guide training course.

The newly invested Master guides have been sharpened with leadership skills that are specifically geared to leading youth in areas of development such as understanding God's world of nature, outreach ministry, service to others, and a lifestyle that denotes healthy living.

The Church elder for Chipasula church, Master Guide Nyirenda, expressed gratitude for this achievement in the youth ministry at the church. He commended the new Master guides for their dedication and commitment during the course.

"Focus on your personal spiritual life and growth so that you do not teach the youth what you don't know and lead them to where you won't go," Nyirenda advised.

Nyirenda added that, as leaders, they should not only be good at theory but must live what they preach and demonstrate it if they expect to see success in the youth ministry.

One of the invested Master guides, Ella Muyaya, pledged to uphold the vows made and promised to use the skills obtained to fulfill her calling as a leader in the church's youth ministry.
