CMC DORCAS MASS CHOIR TO LAUNCH DVD




Central Malawi Conference Dorcas Mass Choir will launch a DVD for its debut album,Hallelujah on Sunday,18th September,2022 at White Palace Hotel,at Bunda turn-off in Lilongwe.


The DVD has ten songs which include Ndingatume Yani,Pitani Mukalalikire,Ndimafuna bwenzi and Ndani angaletse namondwe among others.


According to chairperson for the 120 member choir,Grace Kalebe Ghambi,the function will start at 1:00PM.The guest of honour will be Honourable Savel Kafwafwa,a Dedza Noth parliamentarian and Chair for Social and Community Affairs committee of Parliament.

Other guests will include Malawi Union Conference President(MUC),Pastor Tony Nyirenda,Central Malawi Conference President ,Pastor John Phiri,MUC director of Women Ministries,Mrs Emily Egolet,CMC director of Women Ministries,Mrs Grace Mazunda ,Pastors and departmental directors from MUC and CMC.


According to the Music Director for the Choir,,Edna Thokozani Zalira,CMC Mass choir was formed as a tool to spread the gospel to areas that are hard to reach so that more souls can be won for Christ.


“We want to spread the gospel everywhere.There are more unentered areas in the central Malawi conference which we are targeting.We want to find means of going there to spread the message.We shall also conduct more efforts in various areas”.She said.


Supporting groups expected to perform at the launch include Card Messages,The Chronicles and Zenengeya Family.


CMC Dorcas Choir started in 1994 as a chorus group with a few women and has over the years grown in membership.
