File Photo

Fourty people accepted Christ as their saviour and got baptised on Sabbath 28th May,2022 at Matako village in Kasungu district of the Seventh day Adventist Church at the end of a two weeks crusade that started on 15th May, 2022. Pastor Dingani Mfune of Kasungu district of SDA church was the main speaker during the crusade.

Wonderful Bells, a singing group from Kawale, Lilongwe graced the day’s worship with wonderful music. In the afternoon, as the church welcomed newly baptized members, many singing groups from Kasungu District participated too.

In his remarks, Pastor Mfune said, “It was a campaign to remember. The seed was sown, many gave their lives to the Lord and 40 people were baptized.

As I sat down and looked at the number, knowing the challenges we had faced, I saw that there was nothing I had done, it was all God.

I’m very grateful.”

Matako Village residents were very grateful for the effort. Group Village Headman Matako said, “During the period, we’ve seen God’s glory, where our children were always home to listen to the word of God and refrained from all immoral behaviors.”
