Sixty Two Baptised after Mchesi Youth Crusade at Namitete.

Sixty two people gave their lives to Christ on Sabbath 3rd October, 2018 at the end of a two week crusade which was conducted at Choma 3 village, at Namitete trading centre in Lilongwe. The crusade started on 21st October, 2018 and was organized by Mchesi Adventist Youth. Comrade Khalani Makunje was the preacher during the crusade.

Pastor Daniel Kwaule who baptized the newly converted Christians commended the youths of Mchesi for giving their resources and every support they made for God's work.''There are a lot of youths out there who don’t have time for God's work, they are busy drinking and loitering in the streets, but you decided to leave the comfort of your homes to spread the word of God here, we wish more youths could get involved in the mission,’ said Pastor Kwaule.

Elder Lordson Chitani of Mchesi church thanked the chiefs of the area for patronizing the crusades up to the last day. ''You have been with us throughout the crusade and you even created a safe environment for the crusade to take place. As members of seventh day Adventist church, we appreciate you for this.’ said Chitani.

Comrade Khalani Makunje who shared the gospel for two weeks in the area urged the newly baptized members to hold fast to the truth and remain faithful till Jesus Christ comes again.''The devil is not happy with the decision you have made today; you have become his targets because you have chosen the right way but don’t lose hope because God will fight for you. I urge you to remain faithful and to always trust in the Lord who, according to Exodus 14:14 will fight for you while you are at peace,'' Makunje said.

Prior to the crusade, Mchesi Adventist Youth provided mobile clinic services to the area and distributed assorted items to the aged. Home visitations were made daily during the entire period of the campaign.
