Women Ministries actions on the dream for Church Construction

Lilongwe North West Women Ministries recently donated Cement to kick start construction of thier branch church. The branch took self initiative for the project by mobilising burnt bricks for the project. Director of Women Ministry at the Central Malawi Conference graced the occation.

True to Paul's message in Colossians 3 verse 12 which says - "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience", Lingadzi District Women shared thier love and compassion to branch ares aof the district where they distributed clothes and other assorted items to the needy. The epitomy of the funcion which was graced by the Director of Women Ministries at Central Malawi Conference was the sharing of the good news of the soon-to-come King of kings: Jesus Christ.

First Lady Commends SDA Church for Child Protection

The Seventh day Adventist church yesterday was among the institutions that received awards from the First Lady and Eye Of the Child for the role they play in championing the protection of children in Malawi.The function took place at Capital Hotel in Lilongwe as Malawi celebrated Day Of African Child.Other Institutions that received the awards included TNM,MBC,Malawi Council of Churches,Muslim Association of Malawi Evangelical Church.Some indiviuals received the awards too.These included Retired Judge Esme Tembenu,Justice Edward Twea,Dr.Mary Shaba and others.Mrs.Emily Egolet,Malawi Union Director of Children Ministries received the award on behalf of the SDA Church.
The Eye of the Child Director,Maxwel Matewere had his book, Betrayal Of Justice, launched by the First Lady. The First Lady urged the institutions and individuals to continue fighting against child exploitation and all sorts of abuses against children

Stewardship Ministries and Trust Services Malawi Union Conference

Stewardship Ministries and Trust Services of Malawi Union Conference conducted a seminar on Building a Culture of Faithfulness from June 1-4 of 2016. The main speaker was was Pastor Barbe from the Southern Africa Indian Ocean Division. Present also during the seminar was the Vice President of the SID, Pastor Bonya.

CMC Launches Strategic Plan and Website

The Central malawi Conference of Seventh Days Adventist Church, on 23rd April 2016 launched its 5 year strategic plan and also the conference website www.cmcadventist.org
Area 3 Conducts First-Ever Children's Big Sabbath
July 23, 2016
Area 3 District held their first ever Childrens big Sabbath. The district comprises of 4 Main churches;
Area 3 Church, Nsewa Church, Kamphuno Church and Chankhandwe Church under the leadership of Pastor Dingani Mfune.
This day was a very special day for the children who took charge of the whole Sabbaths event from Morning Devotion to afternoon program. There were three sermons shared by different children.
In the afternoon, the children showcased a drama about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. The music was just fantastic, as witnessed by a special guest from Blantyre: Little Miss Shaneequa Mfune who came with her father Dumi Mfune and sang two songs for the congregation.
